Brett joined City Pipe & Supply Corp. in 2008. Bob Glast, the former owner and company founder’s son, hired and trained Brett before retiring in 2009. Prior to joining City Pipe as its new president, Brett spent the previous 25 years in development and management of golf facilities across the country. By utilizing his skills in employee and project management, customer service, sales, purchasing, inventory control and marketing, Brett made the successful transition into the PVF distribution market.
Brett and his management team have lead City Pipe on a path of conservative growth taking advantage of the energy market and developing a healthy work culture for employees to prosper. Some of the core values that Brett promotes and maintains include honest and ethical dealings at all times, promoting within, commitment to his sales force, vendor and customer relations, product and inventory expansion and employee accountability. To complete City Pipe’s regional coverage of Texas and the bordering states, Brett and his team opened up new branches in Longview, Beeville, and Big Spring, Texas.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Ferris State University. He is an active member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors, Employee Owned S-Corporations of America, PVF Round Table, ESOP Association, and National Center for Employee Ownership.
